Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is a British-Lebanese Barrister and human rights advocate and philanthropist. After graduating from Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue an enduring and lucrative career in human rights as well as international law. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia which is fighting the Turkish government to get acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney got engaged in 2014, and then got married to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became an household name. Before this, she had previously been a well-known name in the legal world because of her capacity to advocate for clients. Her job is to represent multinational firms in negotiations and court cases about government regulation, as well as social justice or human rights. Since 2015 she worked as a barrister at British courts at Doughty Street Chambers.
